It's Rally Time in general for Optimist International, but also for YOUR OI Foundation. This is the charitable arm of our organization that provides the scholarship monies to our District scholarship winners and grant opportunities to our clubs to further the goals of our clubs in serving youth.
The members of the North Texas District have been very generous throughout the years, but there has never been a time that what we provide to youth through college monies and programs is needed more.
In this, the 50th year of the OIF, we have taken our Dime A Day donation program to a different level with a commemorative 50th anniversary pin, designed by the late Jeff Hansen, who sadly passed away weeks ago. Next year, the Foundation will go back to the traditional $36.50 donation.
